SRPA Designation—The SRPA stands for Senior Real Property Appraiser and is issued by The Appraisal Institute. The SRPA membership designation is held by appraisers who are experienced in the valuation of commercial, industrial, residential and other types of property. Holders of this credential must comply with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
IAAO CAE Designation—The CAE stands for Certified Assessment Evaluator. This designation is offered by the International Association of Assessing Officers which which was organized in 1934. The mission of IAAO is to promote innovation and excellence in property appraisal and property tax policy and administration through professional development, education, research, and technical assistance. Mr. Landretti was the first candidate to earn the CAE designation via the computer assisted assessment track. The CAE designation is the highest credential offered by the IAAO. Holders of this credential must comply with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
Wisconsin Certified General Appraiser & Licensed Appraiser—This certification and license is issued by the Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing. It is the highest level of licensing offered by the agency and enables the credential holder to appraise any type of property of any complexity. Mr. Landretti holds license Number 145 issued in 1991. Holders of this credential must comply with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
Wisconsin Certified Assessor Level 2—This certification allows the holder to act as the statutory assessor in most Wisconsin municipalities including all towns, all villages, and most cities. Holders of this certification are bound by municipal and state law and must follow the directions prescribed in the Wisconsin Property Assessment Manual published by the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.
Wisconsin Certified Assessor Level 3—This certification allows the holder to serve as the statutory assessor in the cities of the first class including Milwaukee. Holders of this certification are bound by municipal and state law and must follow the directions prescribed in the Wisconsin Property Assessment Manual published by the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.
